Here we are with the second episode of House Season 5 titles ‘Not Cancer’… and there are no signs of letting down!

Sure I have been less than happy about some of the episodes in the past.. but such episodes are few and far in between…
I am very confident that House can continue saving lives for quite a few seasons more before his time is up…

The writers have shown that they are not afraid of taking risks… What with changing the entire team… having a weird selection process for the new team.. and finally… removing Wilson… even if it is temporary…

House is going to be very different without wilson.. if that indeed does stick..

Also a new character is introduced in this episode.. who it seems is around to stay… i’m pretty sure you can guess who it’ll be by the end of this episode.. so here it is..

Sorry for not posting the last two days, but these Delhi Serial Bomb blasts really shook me up quite a bit… It’s not like it is a new thing… even in Delhi… but still this time it felt closer somehow… I mean most of the bombs went off in places I frequent… I mean my mom works in CP, in a building under 200 meters from the first bomb, and even closer to one of the ones that didn’t blow…
I myself, might have been there that day!
It’s really shocking to see everyday, examples of people who care so little for others’ lives… All the bombs were placed in crowded areas where chance of casualties was maximum…. places where families go to shop…Even after seeing so much every day.. it still makes me sick… What exactly were they trying to achieve?
But what can one do… I’m not going to stop going to CP… or Karol Bagh… This is something you cant run from… I guess mainly because you don’t know where ‘it’ is…
Anyway… I just hope the cocksucker’s gut what they deserve…

This one not only crossed 9… it actually is 9.6… although it will drop… still, pretty damn good… anyway… will have to see it to believe it….

Wassup!… like… recently – 3

You might have guessed it already…. but I recently saw Iron Man… And it… was… AWESOME!
A unique blend of action, some drama, and comedy… all in the right proportion… none of which are overdone!
So naturally I started to follow, even more deeply, news about Iron Man 2…
And here it is (most of it is actually quite recent):

• Favreau, wants very much to have ‘War Machine’ in the second film… There was actually a hint to this in the first film itself.. when Rhodey looks at the older suit and says something like ‘next time baby’ Now for those who dont know.. ‘War Machine’ is basically Rhodey (the military guy who’s a friend of Stark), with the older suit! Awesome isnt it!
• Happy Hogan (who is Stark’s chauffer, and is actually played by Favreau himself I think) will have more of a role…
• The Mandarin, is going to be the major villian of the trilogy (yes trilogy!) He is the one in the background controlling things…
• He will complicate the character’s personal stories, but keep the main plot plain, simple, and fun… basically he doesnt want to go down the The Dark Knight path, as he says…
• He realizes that the main battle of Iron Man wasnt ‘spectacular’, and will rectify that in the sequel…
• Finally he see’s the trilogy as a more connected plot… as he says.. more like LOTR, and less like spiderman…
• Also… he wants to… if possible, and allowable by his budget, to make the film in 3D!

Also whats new…
I mentioned earlier about Spiderman 4 and 5… and it appears, that both Raimi and Tobey are in… that’s about all…

Well…
I have been quite busy recently… learning some PHP by directly jumping in the middle of it!
I had this idea a loong time ago… as some of you might know… of making an online book trading system for the Drishtant website… and I always shrugged off learning PHP because I had nothing to do with it.. no project… So I decided… this is it… i’m gonna make this piece of shit… And I did!.. Well not exactly.. I mean it’s not complete, mostly done, but not complete, I’ll put it up online most probabily by Sunday.. maybe only before that…
It is basically a ‘plugin’ for joomla, which runs the website now…
What is does is:
It allows you list all the books that you have, and it allows you to browse through all the books that other people are sharing.
But you cannot see who own’s which book…  when you click on the borrow button, a request to borrow the book is sent to the owner of the book.
The owner of the book can now see who wants to borrow it, and approve or deny your request, based on whether he/she is comfortable lending the book to said person…
If the request is approved, the owner can just give the book to whoever wanted it.. and if it is denied…
Well then nothing… The ‘requester’ wont find out who owned the book…
In a close society like Drishtant… it may be difficult to actually make sure noone knows who owns which book, but still… this system is useless over long distances anyway…

24 Season 7 Prequel Movie Retitled… also a new trailer

The 24 Season 7 prequel movie, which till now had been titled 24:Exile, had now been retitled as 24: Redemption, and will be released on 25th November… and the DVD will follow in two days…

The DVD will also featur extra content… such as a 10minute extended version of the movie… making of, comments a documentary “Children of War” a four minute Season 6 recap (they could actually fit it in 2 ) and most importantly… the first 16 minutes of season 7!

So watch out…
