The title for the 11th episode of Season 4 of Battlestar Galactica has been revealed, along with a summary:
Season 4 – Episode 11:
Sometimes a Great Nation
Kara struggles with the forbidding prediction of the Cylon Hybrid while Adama and the Colonial fleet face despair over their shocking discovery.
It is set to air on 9th January of 2009…
But before that… there will also be a series of 10 websiodes that will air on the scifi.com website starting 10th October…
So watch out!

The BSG movie WILL get made… and it will air after the conclusion on the series in 2009…
It will not be a sequel.. i.e. it will not occur after the story of the series, in-fact it will be sort of a prequel, or a side-quel…
It will follow the story of two cylon agents in the aftermath of Caprica’s destruction… It will be based on the fact that the Cylon plan didn’t account for one thing… The Survivors!…
Edward James Olmos (the guy who plays Bill Adama) will be directing, however will not appear in the movie…
In the words of the original author at tv.com “No Six? No Starbuck? No Sharon? No Adama? No worries–it’s Battlestar…it will still be brilliant.”
And I totally agree… With a universe as vast as that of Battlestar Galactica… they may never run out of stories to tell… and as long as thay are as good as the ones we have seen… keep it coming!
We already know (and if you don’t, you’ll know soon), that the final 10 episodes of Season 4 of BattleStar Galactica will be airing in early 2009…
And I mentioned earlier about the possibility of the season being extended… with more episodes / longer episodes…
This has now been confirmed! by David Eick (the Executive Producer) at Comicon 2008…
He said that the final episodes have become very crucial to the series arc, and couldn’t possible be wrapped up in ‘toaster sized’ 1 hour installments…
What i get from this (although it is still not certain)… is that there may be multiple more than 1 hour episodes! Of course it is still possible that there may be more episodes in number instead…
Either way who gives frack! More BSG for us! Yay!!!

For those who need a reminder, Caprica is a spin-off / prequel series of BattleStar Galactica.
Additional information on Caprica:
Caprica takes place 51 year before the events of BattleStar Galactica. It deals with two rival families, the Greystones and the Adamas. It will deal with the birth of Artificial Intelligence, and the circumstances of it creation and development.
When exactly it will start airing is still not known…
An important note in the same release did say though, that the final 10 episodes of Battlestar Galacta’s fourth and final season will start airing in January.
