Heroes BIIIIG SPOILER!!

You may or may not know.. but Comic Con 2008 is going on right now… This is the time when most of the information about upcoming comics / tv series / movies etc. is officially released.

In the Heroes panel at comic con this year, one of the most amazing things that was shown (besides Haydens Panittiere’s cleavage…) was the ENTIRE first episode of Heroes Season 3!
This episode is titled ‘A Second Coming’

I HAVE MASKED THE SPOILER TEXT… HIGHLIGHT TO SEE… YES IT IS HUGE… IT’S THE ENTIRE FIRST EPISODE!!

The episode picks up at the end of the abbreviated Season Two, with the attempt on Nathan Petrelli’s life. Nathan flat-lines on the operating table — but then he comes back to life, pale as a Casper and twice as grateful.

Then we learn that it was Nathan’s brother Peter – from the future – who came back in time to kill Nathan, to prevent him from revealing to the world the existence of super-powered people. Matt figures it out, and gets banished to the desert for his troubles.

Hiro is in Japan, a titan of industry running his family’s company. He tells Ando he’s bored, that after saving the world — twice — he’s a man without a quest. And right on cue, he’s delivered a dvd with a message his father recorded for him before his death.

The message? On the dvd, Hiro’s dad Kaito Nakamura (George Takei) explains that he is now the protector of a secret that, if it falls into the wrong hands, could destroy the world. It’s in his safe, and he’s instructed to NEVER open the safe.

“It’s half of a formula…It’s the light, to combat darkness,” Nakamura says in the recording.

After Hiro and Ando open the safe (and get chided for it posthumously by Hiro’s father). Season 3’s new villain, a blonde named Daphne, AKA Speedster (Brea Grant) shows up and steals the formula.

Sylar’s back! He shows up and terrorizes Claire in her home in a scene obviously written by someone with affection for the “Scream” horror franchise. Their scenes together were the highlights of the episode, simultaneously tense and funny.

“I know you’re scared Claire,” Sylar says. “I would be too if I were here with someone like me.”

Claire stabs him in the heart with a huge kitchen knife. But Sylar overpowers her and then proceeds to pull a Hannibal Lector and cut the top of her head off and then pokes around in her brain and absorbs her power.

As he walks out, Claire asks Sylar why he didn’t kill her.

“You can never die, Claire, “ he said. “I guess now, neither can I.”

Like Matt the intrepid cop, Niki Sanders gets short shrift in the episode. She shows up only briefly in a hotel room, scantily clad, with a political figure (played by Bruce Boxleitner) who’s interested in the newly-evangelical Nathan.

Nathan, you see, after his near-death experience has seen the light. “We are all connected. Save ourselves. Save the World.”

Meanwhile, Suresh makes a breakthrough. After watching Maya’s powers manifest themselves, he determines that the genetic building blocks for powers lie in the adrenal glands, and triggered by bursts of adrenaline.

He sees the opportunity to create superheroes on demand, with specific powers. Maya thinks it’s going against nature, and that he should destroy it.

But Suresh juices himself anyway, and wouldn’t you know he gave himself super-strength??

The episode had two HUGE reveals.

Hiro, curious to see what the future holds if they don’t get the formula back, jumps forward and sees himself betrayed and struck down by a suddenly super-powered Ando! We get a quick glimpse of the potential Apocalypse as well.

Then, after Angela warns Future Peter that he’s messed up the timeline with his actions, we learn that Present-Day Pete has been trapped inside the body of a prisoner in Level 5 of the company, the same place HRG is incarcerated.

Fade to black, episode ends.

Spoilers: Heroes

This is a short and sweet one….
Apparently Tim Cring has said… “If you die in this year, your’e dead!” during a conversation with Milo…

Now.. what exactly could this mean?

It has been known from some time, that one of the things this season will explore is that fact that any change made in the past has huge repercussions…
Could this mean that our heroes realize that the future is inevitable? Or is it that the very nature of the deaths portrayed in this season are those which cannot be undone without come kind of causality paradox?

Spoilers: Prison Break, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother

Heroes: (note the following spoiler is directly ‘copy-pasted’ from source…

Episode 3.01 will start but moments before Nathan is shot, but we will be four years in the future. Isaac’s Sketchbook will appear again this season. Pay attention to episodes 9-11. We will meet another artist that has a similar style as Isaac with a “familiar subject”. Since Adam is immortal and has similar blood traits as Claire it is possible for her to become immortal as well, but the same rules may not apply to Peter. In regards to Peter and revisiting his darkside: “With great power comes great responsibility.” “But we also know that “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” So basically Peter will find himself torn between these two platitudes. Bob has files on the Petrelli boys and Matt also and we might see them. Claude is alive. We will see Arthur Patrelli before Episode 3.08 via flashback. We will learn more about the Haitian this season. Claire’s mom will return this season. We will see the items from the Company “Vault” during real time and in flashbacks. They also mentioned that the Key will play “pretty huge into season 7 mythology.” (Season 7!? Not sure if this is a typo or they are planning for 7 seasons!?) Peter does not read Adam’s mind, because he believes in goodness, but also because Adam has had 400 years to possibly learn how to stop someone from reading his mind. In regards to healing people with their blood: Peter’s power is to “Mimic” powers, but there are limitations to what his blood can do compared to Claire and Adam. the writers ended the answer with: “On the other hand….” This season we will see more of Elle’s relationship with Claire. Peter and Elle will “kinda” meet again. The second part of Season 2 had a plan for Peter to try and find Caitlin (stuck in the future), but this season he has new problems. (So I am assuming that means we will not see Caitlin anytime soon.) A fan asked two questions, first was about learning more about Linderman’s wife and the other one was about finding out about Nathan’s father and the writers said we will learn about one of the two this season. Several character concepts are developed way in advance and it varies on how it is handled with the actors as far as letting them know the plan. Sometimes it is a surprise and other times they tell them the details so the actor can plan and research how to deal with the power. There are some “high-concept” ideas planned for Episodes 3.10/11 that we thought about last season. “Sylar did not absorb Candice’s power. Or Michelle’s. Or Betty’s. He will not get her power back when he reboots.” In the first hour of the premiere we will learn more about what Sylar does with the brains. In replying to a question about the Helix symbol and the connection to Adam, the writers said that we should look up Fibonacci and Fractals, which is about patterns repeating themselves in nature. In regards to a question about Arthur Patrelli’s potential power to control wind and if he was the one to stop the hurricane and if it is connected to Nathan’s ability to fly, the writer answered: “You’re on to something? Or you’re on something?” We will see more of Mohinder renaming powers scientifically and see how accurate he gets.

Prison Break:
First of all Michael will probably get all his tattoos removed in the first episode!!!
Also Michael and Sara will probabily meet up in the first episode itself…
Episode 1 will pick up around a month after season 3 and will span a couple of days.
Michael will probabily group up with a nerdy hacker who will help his efforts against the company, and an FBI agent who wants to help bring the company down and is willing to offer him a pardon for his crimes…
and.. not much of a spoiler but..
Episode names:
Episode 1: Scylla
Episode 2: Breaking and Entering
Episode 3: Shut Down
Episode 4: Eagles and Angels
Episode 5: Safe and Sound
Episode 6: Blow Out
Episode 7: Self Preservation

How I Met Your Mother:
not much of spoilers.. but still pre-release info…
Sarah Chalke will reprise her role for multiple episodes…
The Robin-Barney Chemistry will be further explored…

Uncomfortably Long Silences.. and Bats

Wow… that was an uncomfortably long online silence…

And for what? For something that transcends boundaries of blogs, and space and time, and movies, and tv, and internet, and like.. whatever…
I had to eat….

As you may well know… food is known to incite Epiphanies… as was my case…

I just realized… The Dark Knight is Fucking Brilliant!!!

I know what you’ll say… “WE KNOW THAT DICKWART!!”
But do you know that NO comic book movie adaptation has had a successful trilogy?
NOW couple that with my previous statement and add “Batman Begins was bloody Awesome!” and throw a big BUT in (I like big BUT’s and I cannot lie… by pain of death) and add what you just found out…

A+B-C*D @#%#$^#$^’

I’ll just spell it out for those of you who cant take a decent challenge…

“Batman Begins was bloody Awesome, The Dark Knight is Fucking Brilliant BUT NO comic book movie adaptation has had a successful trilogy?”

What does this mean? You leave it all up to me to interpret…

This means basically that with the highly successful first movie, a second movie that beat all the hype (beat it, burnt it, buried it and defecated on its remains), how impossible is the task now to out do the previous two? (hey that rhymes!!)

FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN THE MOVIE… STOP!!! DO NOT CONTINUE READING… INTENSE SPOILERS LIE AHEAD!!!

While I am still to actually review The Dark Knight… (my post about it being just a written thought) I am sure there is no doubt in your mind that the movie is difficult to outdo…
With a villain this successful it is difficult to build up the drama even further in a next film…

It is still unclear whether there even will be a third film… Most opening have been closed… there is no romantic angle as Rachael Dawes is dead… no emotional angle as Harvey Dent is apparently dead (I don’t mean he IS.. just that if there isn’t a third movie he might as well be)… Batman is an outcast… and what not…

Looking by past experience alone lets see…

Superman 1: Good Superman 2: Nice Superman 3: Tie a rope around my neck and drag me 10 miles through a boiling lava lake BAD
Spiderman 1:Lovely Spiderman 2: Awesome Spiderman 3: The closest one to break the curse… was a commercial success but a failure otherwise… it was poorly received by fans
Batman(Original): Good Batman Returns: Equally Good Batman Forever: Tear my eyeballs out PLEEEEASE! (I wont even mention the name of the fourth film titled batman and Robin)
X-Men 1: Amazing X-Men 2: Superb X-Men 3: Why???

For more info read my source material at …. Do we Need a Christopher Nolan Trilogy?

That is why I think there should be a third movie!!

NOW I fucking confused you didn’t I!!! Admit it!!

The reason is simple… They (The Nolan brothers) are the only ones capable of pulling it off!!
Now although he isn’t signed on for the 3rd movie… Who in their right mind would change it to someone else?
Unlike last time there is no direct pointer in this one as to who the villain may be for the next film…
which means that either it is very obvious… or not yet decided… or is going to be a surprise…

with various hints about the riddler… so far as there being a rumor of a deleted scene showing Reese’s hand picking up a photo of Bruce Wayne and putting a question mark on it…

There is also a hint about cats in the movie in a conversation between Fox and Wayne… But frankly I believe that the best villain would be our very own two-face… declared undead… I mean ‘not dead’!

So what do YOU think…
Comment….
